I only tend to scan my laptop for viruses when Norton's comes up with its orange exclamation mark. However, ever since I bought my new laptop with windows 8.1 OS I cannot scan whenever the program tells me it wants to. I have tried Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool many many many many many times however that only works for anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. It gets somewhat annoying and time-consuming to have to, essentially, reinstall Nortons all the time. Plus, my fear is that my PC security is compromised because of all the 'reinstalling' I'm doing (not that I necessarily think I'm missing out on the updates because I run Live Update until there is no more after each 'reinstall').
Is there any easy solution for this, or will I have to keep using RnR?
Using 360 Premier Edition, 2015, has been happening ever since got my new laptop running Windows 8.1 OS and also my laptop brand is Acer. Bought laptop 2014.
