After my last live update have been 1) unable to save any downloaded files After downloading, scaned for about 4-5 min by Nortons the states download compleated (no insite ratings show) and file disapears fromm hard drive. 2) Winows reports all security software turned off. Nortons reports everything on and working fine. Windows will not allow me to turn Nortons on. 3) takes almost 5 min to conect to my lan and access to internet very slow. All updates on Norton internet security 2010 have been done and all updates ti Windows 7 home x64 have been done. Am using Firefox 3.6.16, not thrillede with 4 yet. This was for the security updates for flash and apple itune (from the companies websites) Nortons scans very slow then no insight box (telling rif file safe shows up) and the file disapears from the hard drive. Any suggestions before I install Linux on my problem child (Have had about 6 issues with nortons on this computer since begining of year) and countless windows issues.
