Norton keeps showing a popup in the bottom right corner of my computer that won't go away. It says: Threats blocked with a big red X. I hit the x and it comes right back. It is in the way of what I am doing on my computer. Nothing in my Norton settings seems to make it go away.
Please tell us what Norton is telling you regarding this event.

Hello Catherine. What OS are you using and what Norton product do you have installed? When the notification appears, have you clicked on "View Details" and reviewed what is being detected?
