NortonUI.exe Silently Crashing in the Background

Excellent - thank you for the feedback. I take the alternative approach of just opening the application to the desktop rather than leave it sitting in the system tray. It reduces the crash rate to once every 40 seconds or so and doesn’t make the computer unusable. I’m told by Norton support that this issue is now with the “senior team”.

@WildPyro @user10572 Its good seeing that you both have a workaround for the issue you are seeing. At least your devices are functional where they weren’t before. That said, Norton needs to lean directly into this thread and solve the coding fiasco that is causing this in the first place. Customers don’t pay to be test beds for any company to garner telemetry for QA purposes. That should be done prior to offering a product for public consumption. Personally, I would insist on the software itself being coded properly. We spend to much time on the forums, like dogs chasing our tails these days. Just my 2 cents from where I sit.
