Not able to re-download my Norton 360 after formatting my PC

I purchased a 2 year license of Norton 360 online from Symantec.com along with a Norton Download Insurance. Recently  I formatted my PC and so need to re-download my product. But when I am hitting the "Download" button in My Norton Account, it is going nowhere. Please help. I am running out of protection.

With these links also I am facing the same problem. I think there is some problem with their server. After hitting the download button in My Norton Account a blank page is opening. More problem is even the customer support links in Symantec site is not working. Can anybody give me the customer support email id?

Hello roy_sekhar

Here are the links for N360 version 5. Perhaps it will work if you click on this link directly. Since I don't know if you need the standard or the premier version, I will give both. Please pick the proper one.

http://www.norton.com/n360s_5 (standard)
http://www.norton.com/n360p_5 (premier)

http://www.norton.com/n360sne_5 (standard - netbook edition)

http://www.norton.com/n360pne_5 (premier - netbook edition)

Please pick the appropriate link based on the amount of backup space you have

You can get your key from your Norton Account. at www.mynortonaccount.com

If you need customer support, here is the link for that.

This is the link for US/Can. If you need a different location, please consult your local Symantec site for the local free chat customer support link.

Hello roy_sekhar

If your subscription is current, you are entitled to upgrade to version 5 for free. However, if you want to stay with version 4, here are the links for version 4. Please pick the product for which you have the key since the key is not interchangeable.

Norton 360 v4 Standard: www.norton.com/n360s_4

Norton 360 v4 Premier: www.norton.com/n360p_4

Please remember to run live update and to reboot after receiving all updates.

You can find your key at www.mynortonaccount.com   The same key is good for version 5 also.

Please come back and let us know how you made out. Thanks.

Hello Roy

If I may ask, what was the reason you reformated your computer? If it was because there was malware on your computer, some rootkits are not cleaned up by just doing a reformat. There may be some malware that is still in your computer. If it was done because of malware, we can recommend some free websites where you can get your computer thoroughly cleaned up. If it wasn't for malware reasons, please let us know..Thanks.

I formatted my PC as it was performing slowly. Not because of any malware problem. I think the problem is with Norton server. As after clicking the download link it goes nowhere.

I have no issues either other than Firefox blocking a redirect.  What browser are you using?

I am primarily using Firefox. But facing problem with IE as well.

Hello roy

What operating system and service pack are you using? Did you reformat or go back to how your computer was when it was new like for example you bought a Dell and it came with certain things already installed? Have you run a check disc to see if your hard drive is good?

My OS is Windows XP Professional 2002, SP2. Mine is a desktop. It was performing slowly. So I reinstalled XP, but from a different disc. Earlier I had SP3.

Also Norton Download Manager is howing an error mesaage on opening my computer each time.

"An unrecoverable error has occurred. Please click Technical Support for more information".

Upon clicking browser opens but goes nowhere.

Please help.
