Your are at risk - not fixed is my problem. I have down loaded the remove and install download and restarted mt computer. Very time it say it is fixed and then next day isnt. Obviously looking this forum this is a major issue for some time and what can i do to fix.
There is a hotfix that was released today that might help with your problem. Run LiveUpdate and restart your computer to see if it helps.
Hi Educa,
First I have asked a moderator to remove your email address in your image of the main page of your NIS.
Second I would suggest you follow the instructions below:
If you use Identity Safe for your Logins, please back it up (export) the data so it can be Restored (Imported) after you install a fresh copy of NIS.
Please remove the copy of NIS you have installed, using the Control Panel uninstall via (Add/Remove or Programs & Features.
Download and run the Norton Removal Tool once and reboot after it is completed. The NRT can be found here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?do...
Please NOTE: The Norton Removal Tool is a different tool than the NRnR and provides a better cleanup after the uninstall of NIS than the NRnR that you have already run
Download a fresh copy of NIS from here:
www.norton.com/latestnis
Once installation is complete, open NIS and manually Run LiveUpdate as many times as necessary for it to respond "no more updates found". If a reboot is requested, reboot and then continue to Run LiveUpdate until it responds "no more updates found" and then reboot one last time.
Once totally updated, don't forget to Restore/Import your ID Safe data.
Please keep us posted.
