My Norton software is not recording any messaging, social, video and apps activity. The only thing it is recording is web search and time.

Can you please try Internet Explorer for testing purpose to see if it makes any difference?
Are you a NOF premier user? If so, then video should be monitored.
Apps activity is for Android mobile.

My daughter won't use Internet explorer. I am premier member, but no video is being recorded.

I generally try not to suggest users to upgrade their browsers or applications as they might have their own reason staying on the version they use. The thing I've noticed is Firefox 6 is not an updated browser, but I'm not sure that's the reason or not.
Is it possible you could install Internet Explorer on the PC and test it yourself by logging onto the PC as your child to see if it works (so I can tell it's the browser reason or some other configuration issue).

since my last reply I've upgraded firefox to the most recent 14.0.1, and the same problems. I will try to add explorer to my daughter's login and see if that helps.

Since you already have Firefox 14 installed, the program should be able to monitor videos. please check Firefox browser to see if the Norton Safety Minder Extension is enabled. You can find it by clicking Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions in Firefox.
