Not seeing Recovery Options in Ghost 14

"FInally solved my own problem by poking around.  For some breathtakingly dumb reason, if--from the recovery environment--you browse your recovery points by "Date", the default option, and select a recovery point, Ghost does NOT give you the Recovery Options.  And if you want, for example, to restore the MBR you cannot do so.  It skips right past that step and only shows you the default options that it has selected for you.

But, if you browse by selecting the Filename option, and select the very same recovery point you can see in the default "Date" view, it will then run you through a series of screens to select the Recovery Options.

Why the default "view" would hide the options from you, I have NO idea.  I am though, at last, happily running on a new drive and returned to NAV 2008 which works and plays well with Ghost 14."

I absolutely despise this company!  Symantec is heavy on marketing, very light on documentation and support; and sells dicey products.  The problem in this post has cost me about 10 hours of trial and error.  From this forum it is clear that users are struggling with the products; and most solutions come from the users themselves, or remain unsolved.  Not surprisingly, the Norton/Symantec support page is full of marketing garbage and contains absolutely no information regarding bugs and fixes.  Buyer beware when a software vendor's support page is so structured.
I hope to never, ever, find myself in a situation requiring the purchase of a Symantec product.
