The Norton Internet Security window doesn't start up properly right after booting the computer. The first time I click on the icon, the minimized window appears in the toolbar, and when I try to maximize the window, only a small rectangle with the Norton logo appears. If I close this minimized window and restart the Norton application, the proper Norton Internet security window appears on the screen and I can start a scan, etc.
This phenomenon seems to have coincided with a new message in the log files, regarding a Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface. Does this message have anything to do with the strange starting difficulties?
The full message is as follows.
24/04/2013 9:44:39 PM,Info,"Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter \"Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface\" (IP address: fe80::4f9:220e:3f57:fff5%11).",Detected,No Action Required,Firewall
Also, I have two reoccuring messages regarding IP-addresses 169.254.57.185 and 192.168.0.10. I find this strange because I have nothing to do with these addresses, which as far as I can tell, are not even in the same country as I am.
Is this something to be concerned about?
Messages from the log file follow.
