Please upgrade to the latest 2008 version and see what happens

Hi, not meant to be rude but I'd really appreciate a direct reply instead of "go get a better car" kind of reply.

Due to policy, licensing and approval I do not have the luxury to just switch and change and see.

Thanks.

Hello,

NAV 2005 has Internet Worm Protection. This is an inbound firewall that scans incoming traffic.

It's ok

I guess the answer from Vejdin says it all?

Thanks Stu, Vejdin

I'll check the software settings again.

Hi again, I know NAV 2005 has the Internet Worm feature, but I can't find it.

As posted earlier, I'm using NAV v10.0.2.2000, Scan Engine, 81.1.0.13. Virus Definition is 7/10/2008 rev 3.

I don't think I'm running the consumer editions, more like running the server/client editions, and this happens to be a client.

Could anyone kindly advise? thanks.

Shawn

Hi shawntim,

It sounds like you're running Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition. If you would like to discuss Symantec enterprise products (like the product mentioned above) please visit https://forums.symantec.com/. These Norton forums are specifically for consumer product discussion. I apologize for this inconvenience.

Thanks Tony, I’ll seek help in the other Symantec forums you suggested.
