Sorry. Got called away.

From your image, the protection is not disabled. It is just a setting for Screen Overlays for your Norton Password manager.

Try going to Android Settings > Apps > Norton Password Manager. Scroll down to Appear on Top. Turn that setting on and test.

Hi again. Thanks again. Sorry your advise won’t help. All settings for Overlay seem to be set. I’ve tested the strange behavior also in other Apps. When i follow the app-instructions, as seen in my first Screenshot, all settings for Overlay are set too. The warning appears every time the password-manager ist activated. It looks like a bug.

I focused on the Norton Password Manager because you mentioned it seemed to cause the message. Try checking the Appear on top setting for your Norton 360 app.

Also turn your phone off and on again and test.

Sorry. Appearing on top has been set. I turned the phone off. This doesn’t work too.

@Klaus_Kuerten Is your PWM version 8.8.6.3895? I’m on a Samsung Z-flip 5 Android UI 8, I cannot duplicate the issue my side.

Hi. NPW Version is 8.8.7.

Try turning OFF the Appear on top setting for 360 and test. If that does not help, try turning it off for Norton Password manager and test.

Thx for the hint. Doesn’t work.

From your second image above, what screen or feature in 360 are you taken to when you tap on the left arrow at the top left of the screen?
