Hello @Holly_Dalton
What Norton 360 → Troubleshooting have you tried?
Repair Norton | Reset to Default | clean Norton 360 install?
Note: Reset to Default resets Cloud Backup.
Please run Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine.
To stop persistent notifications about apps accessing the web in Norton 360, you need to adjust the Smart Firewall settings to “Allow” programs automatically or manually define rules for the specific apps that keep prompting you. This often happens when Norton is set to “Ask” for permission rather than using its automatic decision-making Smart Mode.
Trust Levels: In the Program Control tab of your Firewall settings, ensure the specific app isn’t just set to “Ask.” Manually change its status to Allow to override the Smart Firewall’s daily evaluation of the program.
Network Type: If your home network is fluctuating between “Public” and “Private,” Norton may reset firewall rules for safety. Ensure your network is set to Private in Security > Advanced Security > Smart Firewall > Network.
