I found my daughter using our android tablet the other day and saw her messaging someone with an app. I knew I had not enabled any messaging apps in her profile, let alone did I permit any from the Norton Family dashboard.
I asked her what she was doing and she said that one of her games (Trivia Crack) has the ability to message other "users" they have connected with.
Am I missing an app or messaging feature? If not, it would be nice to see Nortons app advisor, when combined with the Family Control app - have enough insight into applications to be able to notify us parents when apps have some integrated social media or interaction aspect. Another example would be Instagram. If I pretended to live under a rock and saw my daughter installed Instagram, it would not be classified a messaging app but as a parent it would be nice to be informed that it has the ability to leave messages or communicate with the public.
