Hello, I'm new to the Forum from the UK.
After hearing from my bank of an attempted identity theft, I ran a full system scan several times, picking up nothing more sinister than tracking cookies. In the belief that the only way that my personal data could have been obtained is through my PC, I downloaded and tried to run NPE. Every time it gets to a folder/file called MWL Service, it crashes, giving the error message listed above. During one attempt, it crashed after re-booting with a 'catastrophic error/failure' message (sorry, can't remember which). To my non-technical eye, this all seems highly alarming! Can anyone help me out, please?
The PC is an Acer Aspire M3802 (System type: x64-based PC) running Windows 7 Home Premium. I am reasonably literate in using the PC applications but fairly ignorant of operating systems.
I'd appreciate any advice.
