I am running NSR 2.0 on 64 bit Vista Home Premium Service Pack 3. I have configured NSR to do a backup of my C Drive. It is configured to do a base backup once a month and incremental backups on a daily basis. My destination drive for the backups is an external USB hard drive which I do not keep plugged into the computer. I plug it in only when I want to do a backup. When I plug in the drive, NSR asks me if I want to use that drive for backups. I say yes. Most of the time NSR does a base backup even though the most recent base backup is only a couple of days old. What do I need to do to get NSR to follow the configuration: daily incremental backups with a base backup only once a month?
