I messed up while using REGEDIT. My system booted just fine, but neither the keyboard nor the mouse worked.
NSR 2.0 to the rescue? Well, sort of. When I booted from the original NSR CD, it didn't recognize my external ESATA drive where I had my recovery points stored. I had several moments of panic until I read the HELP file.
The HELP file pointed out that the recovery disk only recognized external USB drives. I shut down, changed the connection to USB on my external drive, and booted up with the recovery disk. This time it recognized my external hard drive, and I was able to recover my C: drive.
Symantec: Can you update NSR so it recognizes external ESATA drives? Is there some technical reason external ESATA drives can't be recognized?
