NSS Computer Freezes up

I have the same problem. I recently began using Norton full version, which came free with my Comcast cable subscription. Several times a day now Norton takes over my system and renders it completely useless for up to a half hour at a time. The culprit is ccsvchst; it eats up to 80% of my cpu.

 

I have researched this issue and most blogs say that Norton is crap and I should look for something else, but wanted to see if Norton actually acknowledges they have this issue and whether or not there is a fix.
