Hello, I am currently running NIS2009 on WinXP Pro SP3. I just purchased and installed NSW12 Basic, which seemed to go off without a hitch. However, now I'm not so sure WinDoctor is functioning as it should. When choosing to let it perform all tests, the only ones it shows and runs are the various registry related scans. If I use the option to let me choose which tests to run, the only choices listed are, once again, the registry related options. Also, there are NO Analysis Agents to choose from in the "Select Analysis Agents" dialog box.
I just recently (within the last 1 or two weeks) install the "Trialware" version of NSW12 Standard on a different machine (Same OS version and NIS version), and can clearly remember WinDoctor on that machine having several more scan options in categories other than just Registry.
I've tried uninstalling NSW, re-downloading, and re-installing several times now with no difference. So my question is, should those other options be available in the Basic edition, or am I just chasing my tail here? For what it's worth, when running the "one button checkup", it does have other scans listed besides Registry (and all say "Scanner Enabled"), and they do seem to run.
