I've started using Norton Utilities 15. Suddenly, all my Yahoo Messenger Archive is gone. I have set Yahoo Messenger to save all archives, I don't want some other program deleting them. I want the archive back, please tell me where it is. Also, when I go to websites, all my automatic log ins are gone. I want them back, how do I get them back?
What scans did you run in NU? Did you run "Clean your disks"? If you ran the scan for plugins, it notes that it cleans Cache and history files (that would include your archive). If you ran the scan for browsers and have IE checked, one of the items listed is "autocomplete data" (that would include saved passwords). You can try running unerase. From the main UI of NU, click on "Recover" and then "Restore". That should restore what was cleaned in your scan.
