I recently downloaded the NU16 trial because I needed some bad sectors identified and fixed on my hard drive and windows chkdsk wasn't doing it. (Neither did NDD; I suspect it's just a different wrap around the same API). Afterwards I left NU running in the background and moved on to other tasks. Next morning, I discovered that NU had deleted, without asking for any sort of confirmation, my browsing history and temp files - across all my browsers. I had made no other changes to the default settings, so I can only assume this is out-of-box behavior. I don't care at all about the temp files, but DELETING THE BROWSING HISTORY BY DEFAULT AND WITHOUT CONFIRMATION IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Right now there is zero chance I will be buying it; I am only posting here to ask if there is any way to revert that bit of "maintenance". I found some tips to undo from the NU14 manual, but those steps don't work with NU16 and I could not find any similar options or indeed anything that allows for undoing.
