NU 16: Norton SpeedDisk unable to connect to engine

HI,

 

I'm running Norton Utilities 16 (16.0.0.126) in Windows 8 pro x64.

 

As the title says, SpeedDisk refuses to launch because it is "unable to connect to engine".

 

In an old thread a guy says that the problem could be that the process wasn't starting. He
didn't mention what is the process and I couldn't find it myself.

 

In Windows 7 x64 with NU15 I never had problems of this sort...


Any assistance appreciated.
