NU16 MFT Cleaner cannot open drive C: Reason c0000043

Ever since installing NU16, I cannot get the MFT cleaner to run successfully.  I get the message that it wants to process drive C: and a couple of seconds later, cannot open drive C: for reason c0000043.  

 

I've searched the internet hi-and-lo and cannot find a clue as to the cause of this error.

Hi TLubrano,

I understand that "Cleaning Master file table record" is not function is correctly.
Please confirm if you can complete bleaching without "Cleaning Master file table record" section.

Also please provide us the exact error message what are you seeing.

Hello Tlubrano,

 

I know that the only time MFT cleaner to run is in bleach files. Can you confirm if you are referring to the item in bleaching? Please specify/verify what steps you are taking to run the MFT cleaner. Additionally screenshots would help.
