My NIS 2011 informed me that it had blocked an intrusion attempt by my own computer to access URL "exemple.com" - risk name "HTTP Nukesploit request/ HTTP CrimePack Activity 1" Two simultaneous notifications. This was while I was generally browsing with I.E.7 on my XP Home SP3 computer. From previous postings and help sites I gather this was my computer trying to gain access to an infected computer and blocked by Norton.
My computer shows no sign of infection however. I have run a full scan with Norton, Malwarebytes and Norton Power Eraser and HijackThis all come up clean. I am no expert but is an attempted connection possible from just accidentally opening an malicious web page?
