Number of devices on a standard 360 subscription?

I was under the impression that the standard 360 subscription I have covered up to 3 devices. But I seem to be unable to add any more than one device. The website even says that I’ve used up all my devices. So maybe the standard 360 is actually only for ONE device or?

Thanks in advance!

@Jakob_Sievers Norton 360 Standard covers 3 devices per this article:

When you review your subscription within your Norton account its showing all three seats taken? Trying to clarify. Did you have Norton installed on other devices prior to this subscription? If so is the new product key and subscription the one being reviewed? TIA.

Sorry for the late response.
Well, if I install norton for my android phone and log in, it says that there are no available licenses and then asks me if I want to transfer my one license from my PC to my phone. Which I obviously do not. It’s very puzzling.

What country do you live in? Different countries have different entitlements for the different 360 subscription levels.

Open your Norton Account and click the user icon at the top right and click on My Subscriptions. Then find your 360 subscription and click on Manage licenses. That will list all devices currently activated on that subscription. If you see a device you do not recognise, or you no longer use, you can click the trash can beside that device to free up the activation you can use for your phone.

Wondering if the OP actually has Norton Security Standard vice N360 Standard. If so NSS is for only one device, that would account for not having more seats on their subscription.

@Jakob_Sievers Our Norton contact says that your account has been reviewed. Your account / subscription is for one device. That would suggest one of two possibilities, either you have Norton Security installed having mistaken it for Norton 360 Standard, or, Norton 360 Standard in your geolocation is limited to one device. Could you please verify what your country is for us? Thanks in advance.

I followed the path described by @peterweb and it confirms that I am on Norton 360 but that I only have one device available on my license. I live in Denmark. Maybe that’s the explanation then? If so, would I have to buy a separate license for my phone or could I add another device to this existing license and save money?

Thanks for your help!

Oh hang on. I just figured out that I could upgrade to the Deluxe plan and get 5 devices instead of just 1. That has to be the best way for me. So I’m doing that.

Thanks again for your help in clarifying this. Dunno how I misunderstood the number of devices on my plan. But hey, we learn.

The best way to do this is to contact Norton Support and ask them to do the upgrade for you. If you just purchase the Deluxe plan, you would lose the time remaining on your Standard plan.

If using the chat function, when you can enter information, enter “agent please” to get connected to a human.

My 360 standard was a recent purchase and as such still subject to the cheaper first-year price. I was able to upgrade for free to the deluxe plan for the remainder of the first year period. So I think everything is as it’s supposed to be. But thanks for mentioning it in case I hadn’t been as fortunate
