Was ist bloß mit NORTON los? Ich bin wirklich schon so weit, nach unzähligen Jahren NORTON für immer von all meinen Geräten zu entfernen!!!
Vor kurzem nur mehr Fehlermeldungen, dass Norton nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Update Versuche, mehrfache fachgerechte Neuinstallation, alles versucht!
Problem 1 ... Installation nur mehr in Englisch, obwohl alles richtig auf deutsch und auch über meinen Account heruntergeladen ist die Software immer auf Deutsch.
Problem 2 ... Nach jeder Neuinstallation läuft Norton ein paar Tage normal und dann wieder Fehler, bei jedem Neustart AutoFix und bringen tut es nichts.
Also so was gab es noch nie und haben auch andere diese Probleme seit ca. 3 Wochen?
I'll wait and see whether failure is somehow officially admitted and any errors are corrected. If nothing appears in the near future, I will contact Norton directly to clarify claims against Symantec in order to ensure that there is still sufficient remaining term.

The only thing I notice is that after a few hours Norton issues a security warning “Behavioral Protection”.
The error cannot be fixed nor can I change anything in the settings.
My conclusion after trying again following the instructions according to the recommended link.
Negative, annoying and the effort was in vain because the success of the error-free start and operation only lasted 1 day. Not to mention that the software first downloads in German, but then when installing everything takes place in English again, after the installation is complete, the software runs in English again.
The sobering result is that I will now definitely uninstall Norton completely and use an alternative provider as a temporary solution.
The susceptibility to errors, the problem that software is suddenly only available in English, makes me doubt its reliability and security. If I can't rely on security software, that's not a good sign.

It's a shame that I haven't had any other solution on my devices since the early days of Norton, but apparently the quality is no longer what it was used to.
My browser and the entire system (Windows 11) are correctly set to German.
I've tried switching Norton to German several times. Removing the existing software with NRnR and then reinstalling it. The English version always installs, no matter how many times I try. After about 20 times I gave up.
Unfortunately, there aren't really any error codes. The only thing I notice is that after a few hours Norton issues a security warning “Behavioral Protection”. The error cannot be fixed nor can I change anything in the settings.
A restart does not bring any improvement and a FIXIT occurs immediately after the restart.
I've never had such problems with Norton since 2006 and I'm really not the dumbest person at the computer.

What's wrong with NORTON? I'm actually ready to remove NORTON from all my devices forever after countless years!!!
Recently only more error messages that Norton is not working properly. Update attempts, several professional reinstallations, tried everything!
1) Problem 1... Installation only in English, although everything is correctly in German and downloaded via my account, the software is always in German.
Problem 2... After every reinstallation, Norton runs normally for a few days and then errors again, every time you restart AutoFix and it doesn't help.
So there's never been anything like this before and have others also had these problems for about 3 weeks?
