Hi Lmacri,

See message 8 here: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Need-help-Norton-360-crashes-windows-7-vaio-laptop/td-p/1126828

If you are a gamer or you need current drivers and your manufacturer doesn't provide recent Nvidia drivers, I could easily make a modded one for you and you can update to one of the latest drivers you wish. :-)

Nvidia shows this as the latest for your specs: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/57621/en-us

Hi Apostolos:

Thanks for the offer.  HP stopped providing driver updates for my laptop a few years ago, but I use the Auto-Detect Your GPU feature on the NVIDIA GeForce drivers page here and it always seems find the correct graphics driver for my OS and motherboard.  I already have the recommended v. 307.83 driver installed on my system.

EDIT:

I'm not sure why Apostolos' link in message # 1 was removed, but I noticed that the NVIDIA support article wasn't displayed correctly in my Firefox browser because some page elements were blocked with the HTTP secure (https://) connection.  Here's a re-post of the same URL using regular http://.

The link to the website as you can see is "Norton secured".

Before removing links from posts, you should check a bit further.
Hope this helps,

@ Mohan_G,

Furthemore, if you get an IE message that "only secured content is displayed", you should know that this a simple IE message and it can be adjusted in IE settings so it no longer displays.

The links are from LEGITIMATE Nvidia website, sorry.

Hope this helps too and that you will get them restored.

Hello,

I also sent a PM to the Admin that deleted my links here, of course no reply as expected, which make me think that the problem is not the links I've posted being not legitimate but more likely Mohan_G's intentions.

I always doublecheck with NIS before posting any link.

I'd like also to know if the sites with the Norton Secured icon are not legitimate because this could be a major issue.

Hey folks, let's remember to keep it friendly. Our community managers work hard toward our first responsibility - keeping our customers safe. No one has malicious intent; it's quite the opposite. We also don't assume that those who post these links have malicious intent. Our goal is to evaluate the links, and judge the best way for customers to get information with as little risk as possible.

We've added back the URLs but they are not hyperlinked. That way, those who wish to visit those sites are ones that do so deliberately.
