Odd network messages in history:

Checking through the history having just formatted a computer I noticed some rather odd messages about network connections popping up. I then went and checked my other pcs and they all have the same messages.

Essentially it goes like this (blanking out most of the ip numbers):

12:58

Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter "insert each PC's adapter, e.g Marvell yukon blah blah" (IP address: long string of letters and numbers, about 24 characters long)

12:58

Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter "insert each PC's adapter" (IP address: 169.XXX.XX.XXX)

12:58

Protecting your connection to a newly detected network on adapter "insert each PC's adapter" (IP address: 192.XXX.X.XX)

12:58

Ip address has disappeared from adapter (insert each pc's adapter) and is no longer being protected. (IP address: 169.XXX.XX.XXX)

Essentially I'm wondering what that is all about. This is using NIS 2011, network consists of 3 pcs, but these multiple ips pop up even if only one is turned on).

Thanks for any insight you can give me.
