Offline installation

Hello

Is it possible to download the 360 v 5.0 update for installation on multiple PC's?  I don't have access to high speed, and an offline install would be helpful.  I am currently running 360 v 4.3.0.5

Thanks

Jeremy

Yes you can download a single installation file that you could save to a thumbdrive or CD (after saving it on your computer hard-drive is best) and then install as many times as you have active subscriptions. By using this file you will get the current version of N360 V5 direct without having to install the earlier version and upgrading it to V5.

But after installing the downloaded file, reboot and run Live Update manually a couple of times with a reboot inbetween -- hopefully those update downloads to the latest definitions etc will not be large although there have been reports of sometimes gietting a 90 MB update, even repeatedly. This is a bug so if it happens, let us know.

New N360 V5:

Click on the link that matches your version:

Norton 360 v5 Standard: http://www.norton.com/n360s_5/  << version with 2GB of online storage

Norton 360 v5 Premier: http://www.norton_com/n360p_5/    << version with 25GB of online storage

Norton 360 v5 Standard Netbook Edition: http://www.norton.com/n360sne_5/   Netbook Edition  << version with 2GB of online storage

Norton 360 v5 Premier Netbook Edition:  http://www.norton_com/n360pne_5/   Premium Netbook Edition  << version with 25GB of online storage

Make sure you get the right version since the keys are not interchangeable. SAVE the file where you can find it -- do not run it from the download site when Windows asks what you want to do.

You can download that file on any computer and transfer it to a thumbdrive to install on another.

When it asks you to activate it you can click on Renew and enter the key there.

Thanks

Let us know if by any chance that large update repeats next time you run LiveUpdate ... this was happening to some and was something to do with a corrupted file I believe.

I ran the Live Update a second time, and everything was up to date

Thanks for the feedback -- you know where to find us .....
