old folder on desktop, "SmitfraudFix"

More than two years ago, I obtained lengthy technical help from a Norton agent by telephone for disinfecting an older laptop computer.  One of the files that the agent directed me to download was a folder containing several mostly EXE files; this folder was named SmitfraudFix.  Once the computer was disinfected, I kept the SmitfraudFix folder; This folder is still on the desktop.

What should I do with this folder now?  I intend to uninstall Norton Internet Security and also use the Norton Removal Tool, before later trying to install an updated version of Norton Internet Security.  Should I transfer a copy of the Smitfraudfix folder to a removal device and delete the copy on the desktop?  Should I just keep it on the desktop?   Would the Norton Removal Tool peform removal of the SmitfraudFix folder and contents?
