Old issue informational post

An older issue with "Auto-Protect" and "Removable Media Scan" being grayed out has raised its head yet again. This was after the recent update to version 22.23.6.5, an initial reboot after the patch installed. A second and third system restart took place to facilitate other software updates at which time the below was noted while checking Norton settings again. A simple restart corrected the issue. There are no entries in Norton history that would indicate there were any Norton live updates that may have caused the issue. Just an FYI so others don't panic if this takes place on their machines. In past instances a restart didn't always correct the issue thus this posting.
