Hello all,
My 2001 Dell Dimension 8200 (XP Home) as died this week. Fried memory and possibly HD.
I have made a backup\recovery point the week before with Ghost 10.
I am buying a used 2005 Dell E520 that contain a version of XP (media Centre). That PC has a HD that is partitioned (factory by Dell). The HD has been wiped clean (only 1st partition containing the OS is OK).
Who do I go about restoring my old PC on the new one without erasing the Newer XP that is on the partition?
Do I run the risk of creating another OS on the empty partition?
I would like to keep the newr XP version but have all the software and file that I used to have (not mentionning my 100's of e-mail).
Thanks a lot
daniel
