On start-up the Task Bar displays TWO Norton Security Suite icons

Newbie here! First Post.... (be gentle)

I recently added the hard drive of my deceased laptop (also Windows 7) to my desktop. Norton Secirity Suite was installed on both computers.  Now when I start up the desktop I show two Norton icons on the Task Bar.

 

Program Files on desk top drive shows Norton installed there.

Program Files on the Laptop drive does not diplay Norton installed.. However the following option Program Data does show a Norton program but the icon displayed for that topic is a faded yellow instead of bright yellow as are all the other topics. Twice I have chatted with Norton Support and both times they corrected the problem UNTIL I started the computer the next time.

 

I am unable to remove or delete the info. in  Program Data on Laptop drive.

 

I am able to retrieve data from both Norton Task Bar icons.

 

I could remove the laptop har drive but I need info. on it.

 

Any suggestions?.
