Well, the title pretty well says it all. My wife opened her ipad this morning and said that a Norton warning about not opening a link was showing which immediately vanished. The clicked on the Norton icon which came up with the message shwon in the title to this thread. Her ipad is covered by my computer subscription (Norton on my computer shows 4 out of 10 possible devices) and Norton on her ipad has been regularly running scans and receiving updates, but when I logged into my Norton account, under devices my wife’s ipad was shown as inactive, under two entries, one 195 days old. I deleted both of these entries and started the process to add her ipad as a new device by sending an email to it, as per instructions. So far, it has taken me to the app store, I started the app downloading and after about 10 minutes of nothing happening I deleted Norton from the ipad. I have since gone through the porcess again but Norton 360 doesn’t seem all to be there after donwloading. So what is going on?
What iPadOS version is on the iPad? You need to have at lease iPadOs version 17 to use 360.
If your device has this version, try ensuring 360 has been deleted from the iPad and then turn the iPad off and back on before trying to reinstall again. You can go directly to the Apple Store app to download and install 360. On iOS/iPadOS there is no benefit to using the Norton Account email. Just be sure during installation process that you use Redeem Subscription, or Sign in.

This issue was addressed with an update to 360 iOS on April 7, 2026.
