One-Click Support hangs + RUNDLL error when running system scan (NIS 16.2.0.7)

NIS 2009 v16.2.0.7

 

XP Pro (sp3)

 

I have 2 issues that I require assistance with:

 

1) When I go to "One-Click Support" and click the Begin Support Session tab, it just hangs on the next screen where it says "Checking Norton Internet Security" and the scroll bar keeps going back and forth yet NOTHING happens.

 

2) When I run a quick or full system scan, I keep getting a RUNDLL "Error loading c:\documents" message/box (see image below).

 

Thus far, I have done the following:

 

-uninstall and reinstall NIS (including running the Norton Removal Tool)

 

-run CHKDSK and 'sfc /scannow"

 

-uninstall and reinstall Adobe Flash Player 10 + the latest version of Java

 

Unfortunately none of the above have solved either of those issues.
