"Fixing " in security section has been ongoing for several days despite repeated successful scans

as stated previous you may need to restart ( complete restart) to enable the fix to complete or work its way thru
that maybe why your seeing it still
you could also after doing a restart run the live update and make sure thats all good, and run the auto fix
Have you restarted your computer since the Fixing started? Some fixes require a restart to complete. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. Please run Norton LiveUpdate & Restart (not Shut down) machine.
