I am running Norton One (360) and set up a backup to my online secure space (50Gb) for my personal documents. In total there are about 3,000 files which amount to a total of 16Gb. The Backup was set to tun automatically in the background and sure enough if I left the PC I would come back to see a message that Norton was running the backup. However, after a week I was still getting the Red warning that the back up hadn't been complete which seemed odd and when I tried to view the backup I go ta message telling me I couldn't becasue another backup was running (I only have the one back up set up). So I decided to run the backup manually overnight and when I came down in the morning I had a message saying it had failed and that I couldn't view the set because another backup was running....
So I chatted to support who took control of my PC to investigate. After about 1/2 hour of doing all the things I had done I was told I would have to set up a backup set for every different file type (that is 9 seperate backup sets) because 16Gb is too much to back up to the online secure storage in one go...
Surely this is ridiculous? Just wondered if anyone can verify what the Norton support guy told me because I don't believe that Norton don't know how to create a robust online back up...any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Don't want to pay out for another back up system but looks like I will have no choice.
Thanks
