Online Backup Trial Offer Popup Keeps Appearing

I was surprised to find no references to this problem when I did a search of the forums.  I recently purchased a subscription to Norton 360 Premier, which includes online backup.  However, every time I turn on my computer, I get a popup offering me a free trial of online backup.  I click on the link indicating that I do not want to see the offer again, but it still keeps popping up every time I turn on my computer.   How can I make this popup go away?

Northern Harrier,

Do you want just the popup to go away or for the online backup facility to be uninstalled?

Thanks for asking.  I want to keep the online backup service- I paid for it because I wanted it.  However, I just want the free backup trial offer popup to go away.  Any advice on how I do that, without removing the backup service?

I thought there might be a misunderstanding on that. I've no experience of the OLB module but we do have a Forum dedicated to it here:

Other-Norton-Products

so I'd try there but keep an eye open here for other suggestions.

Please let us know how you get on. Tell them the Norton Product you are using and the version ID .

Thank you, Hugh.  You are kind to follow up and respond with help.

I have tried to uninstall the NOBU  trial program reminder. It just says that it is 'configuring', but it doesnt remove. It is running right this moment and has now been 'configuring' for 36 hours!! I am a 360 user. This NOBU offer was on new computer and it just wont uninstall. Help please I dont want to be constantly reminded that it has 'run out' and 'do I want to subscribe!!

 Thanks

For those of you seeing the repeated popup message -- can you take a screenshot of it and post it? Getting the text of that message will be helpful to determine where it's coming from/how it ened up on your system. Thanks.

after almost 48 hours of 'uninstalling' (NOT!), I cancelled the 'uninstall' yesterday. It is now STILL 'cancelling'!

I attach a picture of the screenshot showing the accursed popup. Thanks

(Well I would except it wont accept the screenshot file as being attachable!)

Thanks
