Online backup wont start

When I click BACK UP NOW the back up wont start.  When I check the backup log it says Backup in Progress from a few days previous 7th December 2011. I think this might be the reason Back Up Now  wont run because the system thinks there is a backup already in progress.  How do I overcome this problem, any help please, kev.

Can you answer a couple of questions please:

 

  • Did you see a popup notification, near your clock in the lower right of your desktop, that a backup was started when you last started the backup process?
  • Does the backup progress within the web interface state its awaiting agent backup or another message?
