Kevj,
Norton 360 allows you to back up up to 3 computers using the same account. I am assuming that you have installed N360 on your new computer using the same license as your previous computer. Each computer is treated as a separate backup set and each computer's data goes into the same (partitioned) bucket with relation to your quota used. Even though your old computer is now gone, the data which you backed up from that computer still counts towards your quota used. Therefore, when you go to back up your new computer, you have less total space to work with because part of your quota is still taken up by the old data.
In order to "see" that data (during a restore, for example) if you click on restore, and then click on change in the restore from box. Your old computer should be visible in the list of possible locations to restore from. This will allow you to access data which has been backed up from another computer. Unfortunately in v2 there is no way to remove data from a backup set other than the current computer's backup set. Removing data from another backup set when you no longer have the computer available is something that will have to be done through customer support until a fix is ready.
Once you have restored everything that you need, feel free to contact me via PM and I will assist you in clearing out any backup sets that are no longer in use and verifying that your quota used is only reflecting what you have backed up on your current machine.
