When will OnlineFamily be integrated with LiveUpdate so I don’t have to keep checking for a new version, and then uninstall and reinstall when there is a new client version?

I do have the latest version, but my LiveUpdate doesn’t show that OnlineFamily is part of the LIveUpdate. Maybe I just missed it
Norton Safety Minder does use the LiveUpdate mechanism, however it is completely automatic and it uses a different mechanism to check for updates. Since we have a connection back to the servers at Symantec (for your configuration updates), we use this different solution so users (primarily children) don't have to make sure they are up to date.
The short answer is, NSM will be updated automatically whenever it sees a new update on our servers.

For some reason, my Safety Minder is still not updating on it’s own. I have been using vesion 1.1.0.21 and noticed that I should be on 1.1.5.15 from reading posts on this board. So I ran LiveUpdate, and it didn’t update it, and I had to manually download and uninstall/reinstall to get version 1.1.5.15 running now.
The patches for 1.1.5 are getting prepared. We will notify you when they have been posted so you can verify if they were downloaded to your machine.
Just to add to what Jose wrote, the patches are created after we put a new build on our servers. If you have the product installed, the update patches are posted after so we can have time to test the "update" process to the new versions.
