FWIW From a message over in Compuserve just now:

<<  Opera v9.50 has been released, but my personal experience isn't good.  This is apparently a significant upgrade, changing a lot of things including a new javascript engine.  Alas, for me they broke it.

He does specify and some of it is pretty esoteric, like in WIN98SE or when using remote controlled security cameras ....

The new Opera is official now.

I don’t agree at all.
I really like Opera. And I think 9.5 is a real improvement

It's not really a question of agreeing -- Connie reports a factual experience (he is trustworthy).

I just reported it in case someone does find some fault situations with Norton -- they could be similar.

The forum platform does not currently directly support Opera.   I'm told that you can use the forum from Opera but that the WYSIWYG editor is not available.

Internet Explorer and Firefox support the WYSIWYG editor.  In this version of the forum it appears the WYSIWYG editor now also works with Safari but I don't actually see Safari on the list officially yet.

Thanx Allen

I found the work around indeed

Unfortunitly no... and I don't see it on the list of coming soon.   As I mentioned before you can of course use Opera, but if you want anything other than plain text, you have to do your own HTML.

I know.

It's a pitty but ok
