I'm trying to upgrade from NIS 2011 to NIS 2012, the 3 PC version. It worked fine on the desktop. On the first laptop running Vista Home Premium and fully updated, I received an error message that NIS 2012 couldn't be installed becasue the operating system was incompatible with NIS. The error message gave me list of systems that were compatible. Of course mine is one of them. I tried the download and the CD that came in the box, neither would work.
Any idea why 2011 would work and 2012 all of a sudden doesn't think I have the correct ystem? And any idea of a fix? I checked all of the udates and had several cummulative Windows updates as well as all of the security updates that MS puts out. I also ran the updater manually and nothing else comes back as needing to be insealled. I'm at a loss.
