I'm running since about 4 years Ghost 14 on a laptop windows 7 64-bit without problems: I was able to create a backup and restore.
Now on a new desktop, windows 7 64 bit harddisk SATA2- Optical drive SATA I still can take a backup but when try restart by using the Ghost recovery disk after loading my mouse isn't doing the job. I tried to use a wired mouse...but got the same result. So, when the Symantec screen is opening after loading I can only use my keyboard to click "accept" or "refuse". If I accept I receive the normal screen to start a repair...but cannot use the mouse.
In another part of the forum Mebobo wrote: "Success! I created a custom boot disc and included the 32 -bit SATA driver".
Can somebody explain what this mean: should I install (and where) a 32-bit SATA driver on my 64 bit ?
