The schedule for the optimization routine (i.e. defragmentation of the boot volume) in NIS is in my opinion too tight - a disk defragmentation every day is a bit too much and it brings really unnecessary wear-&-tear - my suggestion would be to change this and bring it somewhere in between the Windows 7 schedule (one week) and the present NIS schedule (each day) - once every three days would be quiet sufficient.
That said, there is an issue when I turn off the NIS optimizer. The next scheduled WIndows-set defragmentation results in this error:

Description:
The volume Sedmica (C:) was not defragmented because an error was encountered: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. (0x8007000B)
Since this has happened twice already following the same sequence of actions I am confident now that this is an error introduced by NIS. It is remedied by running the defragmentation 0of the boot volume manually, but - obviously- should be fixed.
