Orange Status: Temporary Windows/Internet Files

Norton360 version 4.1.0.32

Windows 7

Norton360 is in permanent alert because there are two pending optimization tasks, namely the removal of Windows and Internet temporary files.

I click on the Repair button, and the rapport states that the files have been removed. However, Norton continues to be in alert telling me that I need to remove the temporary files. The bizarre thing is that for Norton, last time I remove temporary files was last April!

I have shut down the computer, I have repeated the process, and Norton still is “orange color” telling that temporary files should be removed!

I have had Norton360 for several months on this Windows7 pc and it has always been working properly. In other pc I have running XP all works fine.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with this quite annoying issue (because I am used to have a permanent eye on the right down corner of my screen, checking if Norton is “green”).

Thank you very much PapauZ. I have followed your instruccions and it has worked perfectly !

Thanks again for such a quick response.
