OS vista doesn't recognize NIS

Dear norton community

 

i've an issue at my OS, Vista and NIS. The issue is that my OS doesn't recognize the Antivirus.

actually i can skip it, but windows refuses to stop with sending messages ...

 

but it's not normal because the NIS that i'm using was being recognized without issues by Vista before.

 

that was 3~4 months without issues since last week, the day when that error came up ...

i was suprised yes... i've updated the system with some updates before

list of previous updates (image) (in an URL due large image.)

 

after these updates, i'm getting the error... i thought that the issue is at these updates, but normally these updates shouldn't cause this issue

 


my norton version is the next ; 18.5.0.125

OS : vista home basic 32bit SP2 updated

 

 

i've updated my norton by the next way

-> downloading NRT + NIS

-> first running NRT

-> after it, installed NIS

-> restarted

 

the standard solution to solve is was going to the security center and trying to find it manually, but it still can't find it.

 

 

i've thought first that it was caused by the WMI repository.dll file since it checks that there is a AV installed or not.

so i've opened cmd with admin permission, and got the next ;

that's odd... maybe the dll is malfunctioning ...

 

 

 

 

so, do any1 have some ideas to fix that little, but irritating windows complex ?
