Our ISP Want Us To Switch SMTP 25 Port to 587

Our ISP want us to switch SMTP 25 port to 587 to block spam emails from the unprotected computers.

(SMTP Port 25 was Blocked by ISP)

 

I know that many computer users don't use any antivirus software  on their computer,and a lot of spyware are sending

spam mails to others.It's not problem for me.Because, i have been using NIS since 2004 and İ've never been infected anytime.

 

Now, i have switched port 25(SMTP) to 587 and i can send email.

But, i must say, NIS09 doesn't scan and detect threats in outgoing messages  now.(I have tested this appl.)

Here is my question: Must NIS09 scan and detect any virus or spyware if we switch SMTP 25 port to 587 ?
