I just upgraded to NAV2009 and discovered that my trusty ZoneAlarm firewall isn't compatible anymore.
I need a simple inbound/outbound firewall that I can use to block/control the outbound nework access of any program (I need to be able to monitor/block programs from "phoning home" at some times - including Windows and NAV services).
I've been using ZA and NAV for many years, and each does just what I need. I understand the Norton Personal Firewall in NIS has outbound control, but details on it's opertation/configurability seem hard to find.
I have a number of computers, so cost is an issue; after spending $89 on a five-pack NAV 2009 license, I'm a bit peeved that I now may have to spend more just to regain functionality that I had before the "upgrade" from NAV 2008...
