Over the past week, I have been receiving a timeout error any time I try to retrieve emails from a POP3 server (mail.com). Sending works sporadically but receiving has only worked twice in the past week (for unknown reasons - I would try a change to the Outlook configuration when suddenly email would start downloading. However, as soon as it finished, if I tried to force a later download, back to the timeout error.) I've spent several hours exchanging emails and phone calls with Premier Support with mail.com, but nothing they have suggested has fixed the problem. They keep coming back to "something" is blocking the messages. They had me disable my firewall, then turn off Norton 360 Premier entirely. I've change the port assignments, check the server names, reset my password on the server, all to no avail. Any suggestions? Jerry
P.S. I've been running Norton360 Premier and Outlook 2010 for several years with no problems like this before.
