Hi Zenzation

>>Could this be because I installed Outlook after Norton 360? Is there a compatibility issue between Norton 360 and Windows Outlook 2007 running in a Vista 64 bit environment?>>

I'm not sure about any compatibility problem with the above combination, but to rule out the issue of the installation, I would suggest you run the Norton Removal Tool, then reinstall N360 and see if the problem persists.

Let us know how you get on.

Try installing N360 first, is that possible.

Otherwise try leaving outlook alone and reinstall N360. Use v2 which you can find on the Symantec website

Stu,

Norton 360 was installed first. I installed Outlook 2007 afterwards. I suspect that is the problem. Norton 360 may have linked itself to my Windows Live mail (which I was using before I installed Outlook 2007) and did not switch to Outlook 2007. Unless there is a way to tell Norton 360 which email program I am using in setup, the best solution might be to uninstall Norton and reinstall it. That way I can tell it which email program to monitor during setup.

I'll let you know how that works.
